Είδες το; — Art Around Town
This Sunday 29 March - Agioi Omologites, Nicosia
A new series of murals is transforming the streets of Agioi Omologites.
Είδες το; is inviting people to look at the neighbourhood with a fresh perspective. It brings together three artists to create site-specific works and open up a conversation around art in public space.
The programme launches on 29 March with a full day of events for all ages and continues with an exhibition at IN TOTO Gallery open throughout the week.
The exhibition features handmade prints of the murals and a short documentary on their making and the role of art in shaping the neighbourhood.
Limited-edition screenprints will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting neighbourhood initiatives.
All activities are free and open to the public.
The artists
Simone Philippou — exploring the relationship between the neighbourhood and its natural environment
Milenko Stevanovic — drawing from everyday moments to interrupt the monotony of the urban landscape
Twenty Three — focusing on micromobility and how children move through and experience the city
A conversation hosted by ABR
Alongside the murals, the project opens up a broader dialogue:
What is art?
What is graffiti?
What is considered vandalism — and who decides?
ABR (Alternative Brains Rule) is hosting this conversation.
It begins with the CurioCity Walks (16:00), and continues with an open discussion at IN TOTO gallery (17:30–19:00).
You’re welcome to join — whether you come from the walk or simply want to be part of the discussion.
